BM Catalysts Gets TecDoc Seal of Approval for the Fourth Time Consecutively
14th February 2013 - Danielle Dobson

BM Catalysts has received ‘TecDoc Certified Data Supplier’ status, acknowledging that the product information we provide and our cataloguing is highly accurate and consistently up-to-date. The TecDoc catalogue has over 10,000 users across continental Europe, and relies on the integrity of supplier data to get the right part to the right customer, on time. The certification covers both the on- and off-line versions of the BM Catalysts catalogue, and it is the fourth time we have been commended for our data in as many years.

Here at BM Catalysts, we are committed to meeting the needs of all our customers by producing catalogues in digital as well as hardcopy format, in separate UK and European editions. As well as the availability of our data, we also have a dedicated team continuously checking and referencing the entries in UK and European electronic catalogues.

The achievement of this status, especially for the fourth consecutive year, is highly satisfying for BM Catalysts, as our Commercial Director, Mark Blinston confirms: “We invest heavily in our cataloguing activity in order to provide our customers the most accurate information possible. Receiving this accreditation again demonstrates that we take cataloguing seriously and work hard to ensure that we offer our customers exceptional information wherever they are getting it from.”

Having received the ‘TecDoc Certified Data Supplier’ status, we have again differentiated ourselves from our competitors through a proven dedication to quality. To meet demand for industry leading products, the online version of our catalogue includes full cross-referencing and product images, and can be found here on the BM Catalysts website; just click on Catalogue.

BM Catalysts Appointment set to Boost European Market Share
4th February 2013 - Danielle Dobson

BM Catalysts has brought Daniel Burton on-board as a European Regional Sales Manager, in order to capitalise on increasing product demand across Europe. The Nottinghamshire-based catalytic converter manufacturer has been experiencing a surge of interest in its expansive range of aftermarket Cats, DPFs and Front Pipes on the continent; a significant proportion of which is emanating from Germany and France, with other mainland European markets expected to grow at an aggressive rate over the coming 12 months.

Burton, who has 15 years industry experience, joins BM Catalysts following an intensely busy period for the company in Q4; when 88 innovative new products were added to its catalogue. Commenting on his new role, Daniel said: “I hope to build on BM Catalysts’ already strong foothold in mainland Europe, with particular focus on gaining traction in the emerging markets of the East.  My new position offers me an excellent opportunity to learn about distribution channels and routes to market in new regions.”

Daniel joins the growing team at BM Catalysts with a wealth of knowledge in the automotive parts sector. He will working within the existing Export department, alongside David Clancy. In his previous position as UK Account Manager for windscreen wiper giant Trico, Daniel forged a proven track record in securing lucrative new business.  BM Catalysts’ Commercial Director, Mark Blinston, said of the new appointment: “Daniel joins BM Catalysts at a very exciting time for business, with demand for our products showing no sign of slowing and new potential surfacing in overseas markets.  Daniel’s tenacity and in-depth knowledge of the industry will give him a good foundation for success with us.”

To meet with the high demand for its industry leading products, BM Catalysts has plans to increase headcount significantly this year. To keep up with the latest news and product launches follow the company on twitter @BMCats.

BM Catalysts Export Growth Makes BBC Headlines
9th January 2013 - Danielle Dobson

Here at BM Catalysts, we’ve been attracting some media attention of late...

We’ve come a long way since 1998; manufacturing our first catalytic converters at the fast fit depot, to meet local demand. Nowadays, up to 2000 orders are despatched per day, and we're experiencing more demand from Export markets than ever before.

As explained by our Managing Director - Toby Massey - the majority of our current export business lies within mainland Europe, however we are now looking to expand and meet the demands of more Eastern parts of Europe and Italy.

This exciting expansion was covered by BBC News, and presents the opportunity for our Nottinghamshire-based, family-run firm to create 30 to 40 more jobs in 2013.
