New Product Launches Ahead of Automechanika 2017

Following the success at the Automechanika events to date, BM Catalysts will be using this year’s show in Birmingham to officially showcase its new products. Boasting record product development levels in 2017, the company – recognised as the largest independent aftermarket manufacturer of quality catalytic converters, front pipes and DPFs in Europe – has expanded its Euro 5 range yet again, with the introduction of its homologated DPFs.

The first batch of the new Euro 5 homologated DPFs was released in April this year – covering over 3 million vehicle fitments across the UK and Europe – with the Silicon Carbide (SiC) versions expected to follow soon afterwards.

Commenting on the new products, BM Catalysts’ Commercial Director, Mark Blinston, said: “We are really excited to be introducing these new products into the Euro 5 range this year. So far, the existing developments have been extremely well received and, true to our commitment of developing our products to keep one step ahead of the industry, we are confident that the new additions will prove equally popular.”

These new releases contribute to the already significant range of Euro 5 products available from BM Catalysts: the euro 5 catalytic converter range, currently covering 13.4m vehicles in the UK and Europe, and the euro 5 front pipe range, currently serving 19.7m vehicles in the same regions. Moreover, the company currently boasts 95% coverage of euro 5 petrol catalysts, for PSA group vehicles, in the UK and Europe.

Commenting on the upcoming Automechanika exhibition in Birmingham, Mark Blinston continued: “We always get a great reception at Automechanika, so considered this year’s event to be the perfect place to showcase the new homologated DPFs. Hundreds of visitors from across the automotive industry are expected to be in attendance over the three days, which will allow us plenty of opportunity to really show off our products. We’ve got a lot in store in the coming months – we are currently running more development projects than ever before – and this new product launch is just the beginning.”

BM Catalysts will be exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham from 6 – 8 June 2017. The three-day show will be hosted at Birmingham’s NEC, where members of the BM Catalysts team will be available to visit at Stand 19C2.
